Customer's car (yes he knows I am making this thread with the title and he laughed)

2012 Camaro RS

Car was horrible with swirls and oxidation. It lives outside 24/7 and parked on a city street so plenty of people walk by it and rub up against it.

Not the best pictures since I'm a crap photographer but it came out to be a full correction.

Products used:

Body:
Wash with CG Citrus Wash
Sprayed down with Tar-X

Nano Skin auto scrubbed and sprayed down with Iron-X

Meguiars #105 with Hyodrtech Cyan Pads
Meguiars #205 with Hydrotech Crimson Pads
Optimum Opti-Coat 2.0 (body and windows)
Optimum Opti-Seal
Ultima Tire and Trim Guard on tires and trim

Wheels:
Cleaned with Sonax Wheel Cleaner
Washed with Seer's home made wheel wash (very simple to make)
Wheel Wells dressed with CG Blue Guard II
Tires dressed with Ultima Tire and Trim Guard
Wheels sealed with Opti-Coat 2.0

Engine Bay:
Cleaned with APC cut 4:1
Dressed with Ultima Tire and Trim Guard

I've had my black pickup for a month and already wish I had picked another color. They are nice clean, but damn near imposible to keep that way.

This time of year with wind and harvesting the dust is non-stop. Then you get a cloud drop a few sprinkles. Bleah!

yes but a product such as a coating that has hydrophobic and anti static properties will keep it clean longer, and reduce swirling/scratching.

Haha, looks good Seer. I just did a 2011 SS last week that was covered in swirls. It was the dark blue so the before and after were amazing.

Can you explain more on this:

.

True that on the color of money! I have seen the damage a dealer can do just taking a new car "out of the box", so I'm glad you caught my joke about only a year old.

Oh tried out Poli-Seal from your advice on another thread. Shined up my wife's ten year old Lexus really nice. Did a good job of correcting/polishing in one step, though I still need to top if off with something, right now it just has Opti Instant Detailer and Gloss Enhancer on top. Wish I had some Opti-Seal, but it costs 5 times as much as the OID and according to autogeek, the OID has more shine and gloss, and goes on top of the Opti-Seal which is more for more protection.

But nice job on Chebby. :thumb:
