i'm seeing some 2011 / 12 specific caster cambers.

i have the 10 upper strut mounts in the car to use with the strange single adj. i'm switching to the dbl adj and figure i might as well do some caster cambers.

i'm assuming i would need 05-10 specific?

or is there a difference?

they should have carbon fiber bricks on them. With flames. Ghost flames.

Otherwise, any 05-10 caster/camber plate will work. Do not use a 2011 plate if your struts aren't 2011+ specific.

How much camber do you want/need? With just the Steeda HD mounts I could get a max of ~ -1.7 which is probably plenty for your needs. By slotting the bottom of the strut itself combined with the Steeda HD we got -2.8.

Well thats not entirely true. The 2011+ GT500 and svtpp struts use the older style GT500 strut mount. 2011 GT and 3.7 use the changed 2011 strut mount. Not all 2011+ are the same.

Its a simplification of what you were saying.

The GT/V6 have a different design on the upper end of the strut shaft and thus a different mount design. I'm not aware of any specific replacement struts for those cars, so the simplest way to put it is to say a 05-10 style (which one could say "and 11-12GT500") mount on it.

Given he already noted that he's on the older/&Gt500 mount and with a strut for that design, its best he avoids something like the new steeda and MM plates that are for the 11+ GT/V6 redesign (since they can basically only be used on the factory strut offerings for those years/platforms), and instead choose the 05-10 CC plates as recommended above.

and thats what i figured. just wanted to make sure there wasn't anything being missed

Just remember, carbon fiber bricks with ghost flames, a side of omega3 fish oil and CLA.
