Took it off my windows about 3 weeks after going to the track. It flaked everywhere and now won't come off my paint on my car and rear window.

Any ideas on how to get it off ??

Clay bar on the paint.

For the window, use very, very fine steel wool and some glass cleaner.

I think I would use a new razor blade on the glass rather than steel wool. Seems like any time I get near my car with steel wool or a 3M scrubby pad, I end up scratching it.

Tried clay bar on the paint. It won't budge .

I'll go at the window with a razor blade again. But the paints got me worried .

White shoe polish in a bottle. Comes off fairly easily if you clean it off within a day or two but it can turn semi permanent if you leave it to bake in the sun for a few weeks.

Not gonna say how long it's been one there. I scraped it off 3 weeks after the track and the flaking part of its been there for a while .

Paint thinner WILL take it right off, along with every coat of clear and paint...lol

Try to take it out with some Meguiar's #205 or similar, and if it doesn't work, do the whole panel in the #2 cut glaze.

I would try buffing it off. PC and some 205 with a polishing pad. If you dont have the materials to do that, try some duplicolor prep spray. It is clear coat safe, and will pull off any "freshish" paint off.

^ This defintely should remove it!

Hopefully its not baked on but chances are it is with the car being black. I would try the IPA wipe first but you may get some marring. Either way, you'll probably end up using the PC.
