Hmmm. I was considering a blower for the Boss but with some road racing in the mix nitous is seeming more and more interesting.

If you need a Boss 302 to test the port kit, I'm just N on I35 a bit :D

Blowers blow.

For the road racing stuff, nitrous is probably not the most efficient way to go about it, but from a few of my customers, it is about the most fun thing you can do on spray.

Already have a boss on the bench being plumbed and two on the way. :)

I plan on blow and juice are you working on a progressive controller. I had dual power adder on my Termi and the juice was great for an extra oh sh!t face from passengers.

We already have multiple progressive controller options.

Our's, The NOS Mini, and the FJO Mini.

The 03-04's with that oven for an intake really took well to a small shot. IMO the ported blower/spray combination on the 03-04's is probably one of the best bang for buck combinations you can do right now.

Oh the nitrous would be off at the road course but on at the drag strip. I figure a full exhaust cai tune B302 would be perfect for a road course and that with a 250 shot a nice time at the ol 1320 :thumb:

I found them under the electronics and ignitions on your site. I like the FJO - that is sweet and the switch panel is even sweeter. Can that FJO fit in the center console? What is the overall size? I am heading to Las Vegas to fall out for a week and top it off with a Bachealor party 9-9/9-10 so I will call you after I get back.

250hp worth will make it more fun, but you will not get to be on the track as long. :thumb:

The FJO is a good piece. It will fit in the console. its maybe a 1'x3' plus the harness. Ill be here. Give us a shout when you get around to it.

How much do you think the Boss can handle?

Bit of a loaded questions. We have already been doing 150-200hp. We have not popped one yet, but at the same time I have not had one that we have really been beating on for any real length of time yet.

With the right plugs and proper tuning anything under 200hp IMO will be safe.

What is needed for more than 200?

Stand alone fueling does a lot to help out. Really it's more of a questions of how reliable you have to have the vehicle, and what your tuning capability's are.

200hp+ on the stock bottom end is simply a smaller tuning window to hit than on smaller shots. But it can be done with the right tune up. It takes good plug reading to dial in a shot like that on non-forged pistons.

Also, just like everyone else, this is a very new platform for me as well. So some of my opinions on these might change. I am just trying to give out the best information I can with all the data we have so far.

I got the plate kit for my 2011 late last week and have been doing the install a little bit at a time. I bought all the accessories (purge, console switch panel, 2-1/16" pressure gauge for the SOS pod, remote opener, progressive controller) so installation has been a little bit time consuming. All in all the kit is top notch.

Does anyone else have this kit on their 5.0 that they installed themselves? I'm curious about where others have connected the tach wire and the TPS wire. I've gotten good advice from the guys at Nitrous Outlet but haven't connected the progressive handheld yet to verify which wires I THINK should be used. I'm going to try negative on one of the coil packs for the tach signal and green/violet on the TB harness for the WOT wire. Just curios if anyone else has already gone thorough this to take the guess work out of it?

Green/violet as well as the brown can be used for WOT.

Correct me if I am wrong, i thought you wanted to use whatever wire none of the coils had in common color wise for the tach signal?
