Tom, did you say you could read both coolant temperature and oil temperature with the Aeroforce Gauges? Did you have to add additional sensors for this? How accurate do the measurements seem to be?

Todd taking notice with one customer is not enough...their lack of customer service has been like this for a long long time. Same shit happened to Bama...too small of an operation with too large of a customer base. Delays and lack of timely response just started pissing people off. At least with that there are alternate tuners...are there similar alternatives to these gauges? By the way, I do have one of these gauges and love it.

Yes, there are alternatives:

Yep! I have coolant and oil temp. I'm not sure if I'm setup on Platform 4 on that gauge or, just using the PID's listed below the platforms. I'll have to look into it.

But the oil temp stays very consistent around 192° while I'm driving on the hwy. I've not seen it go much higher than that in stop and go traffic. I'll have to switch to that and the coolant and see what's up. I've not watched that for a while now. The coolant, I want to say, was around 180°. Right now, I've got them set up to show A/F Bank 1, Timing, intake temp and MPH. It's nice having that digital readout of my speed when on long trips or around town. Down here, the frikkin speed limits will change five times in a three mile stretch of road on 30A. I can see generally what my speed is on the speedo in the car, but having that digital readout is really helpful.

Guys.

Just letting those that have concerns know that there's no need to worry about customer service issues when you purchase these gauges through us. Not only are we one of Aeroforces top distributors and keep as many of their products in stock you also ALWAYS have us standing behind your purchase. If there's an issue we will make sure it gets resolved.

Will these gauges fit in the Shelby gauge pods they sell that mount on the dash?

Update on the oil temp. Figured out that it doesn't read oil temps. The 192° I saw for that readout was pushed over from the coolant read out. Once I started playing with it, I discovered it wasn't actually updating. Sorry about that.

Still working on calibration. Which one is the correct AFR? I hope I have it on wrong one because it was reading between 11.9-14.4

Great quality stuff, both the SOS pod and the gauges. Install was super easy, as was hiding the two cables. Thanks Ryan at RDKPerformance

that is an appropriate range, the 11.9 would be a good safe wot a/f ratio, 14.4 would a cruise part throttle a/f

Recently I have one bank showing "throttle position %" Its interesting to see how little throttle you really use with daily driving. With my blower 40% throttle is pinning me back into my seat.

This is so true, all I want know is the truth on when my $400 gauges will ship and not the run around or the stall. As told they shipped and this was the tracking number( ups : 1ZVY02600393538434 ).
You tell me if that appears they have shipped yet or not. I know it is not last Friady 12th, when I was told they shipped.

UPS website today the 19th:

Label Created On:08/19/2011
A UPS shipping label has been created. Once the shipment arrives at our facility, the tracking status--including the scheduled delivery date--will be updated.

That is not shipped!

Just found this thread, and you all should hear both sides. First of all, keep in mind that this was not ordered directly through us, but through a dealer who asked us to drop ship the guages. During the time in question we had no black bezels, and offered silver to anyone with pending orders with the promise of sending black later. This particular person declined the offer. They could have been shipped in early August. Black bezels were initially due on Aug 10, so we estimated a ship date soon after. We were told near the tenth that the bezels would be delayed another week (we're looking for a new source BTW), after which we told all dealers (that day) of this delay and said that the new ship date would be after the 18th.

My FIRST contact with this customer was from an email on the 17th. It would appear from the posts in this thread that I had been misleading him long before that - not true. On the 18th I told him that the gauge would ship by week's end. Not before, not on the 12th, but by the end of that week. It shipped on the 19th. I proceeded to send 7 emails over the next 6-7 days to this person trying to tell him the situation and even sent him my emails that went out to dealers stating that no black bezels would ship before the 18th. I'm disappointed that these emails and explanations were not mentioned here. Those took a lot of time out of my day. They were not short. There was absolutely no way of convincing him that we weren't the bad guys though. What information was passed on and what wasn't before the 17th was out of my control. Like I said, he was to receive a drop ship from us, I did not have his or anyone else's contact info who were to receive drop ships. I have all the emails, I'd like to see one statement made that was misleading or untrue.

I think it's unfair to say that this was an example of what was called shitty customer service. I don't know what we could have done differently to make the situation any better. We simply did not have the bezels, offered a substitute, were open with expected delivery dates, and answered emails within 24 hours as is our policy. I even wrote him on a Sunday night from home to make sure he received the tracking info and understood the situation and what I got back were more of the same accusations.

Customer service and our reputation is very important to us, which is why I send emails on weekends and follow threads such as this. No one has ever been scammed or not taken care of. We don't have a dedicated sales staff so don't expect immediate responses, and all gauges are basically custom made per order so don't expect next day shipments. You will get a quality product though, and if there is a problem we will take care of it.

Thanks for reading.

This is not all true. I did not have direct contact with you until the 17 and that is true. I dealt with the dealer I bought them from until that date due to the crazy responses I was getting from the questions I was asking. He was the middle man between us from the start, so my questions was not between me and you it was between me, Ryan and then you at first, long before the 17th, let's say the 2nd of August.

Also I didn't decline the the silver gauges as you stated. I was promised the silver gauges and then was told the black bezels alone would ship out later the next week. Wa pissed when I found out nothing had shipped out as I was told that it had shipped multiple times by Ryan by your guys emails between each other.

So yes, there are two sides of the story. All is good though, sold the gauges, got my money back and moving on. Thanks.

If anybody is interested in the emails or pm's back and forth be more than glad to share them, have nothing to hide and nothing to gain by telling what happened. Just was upset at first with ordeal and then just descided to sell the gauges and move on, could use my hard earned money on other stuff.

Then you obviously don't believe the emails I've forwarded to you. I was told not to send you the gauges with silver bezels. We wanted to get these out, it makes no sense that we would refuse to send them. You insist on blaming us for what someone else told you, there's a reason why "hearsay" is not admissible in court and this is a good example of why. You choose not to believe the emails that I forwarded to you supporting my statements, and everything I told you directly was accurate. There's nothing more I can do or say.
