Most often on these forums it's the 'sent items' folder that gets clogged up, using up all your available space. Well over half of the users have no idea that every sent PM is saved in the 'sent items' folder and counts against your available PM space. The first step is to go to that folder and delete all the messages there, then the second step is to change your settings so you no longer save a copy of every sent PM by default. You can still save individual sent messages if desired.
