I spy something white in the garage... Is that... Is that a corvette? :O

lol yeah it's a 1980 C3. It' my roomates. we found it frame deep in mud in one of his dad's garages with only 53k on the O. so we pulled it out and got it running and put some fresh paint on it.

I finally broke down and put a set of mild, 1" drop Roush lowering springs on my redfire GT. Not a big drop, but it got rid of most of the really obnoxious wheel grap, without lowering the car to the point where it'll scrape on all of the hilly roads around here.

Also had a set of 275/50/17 Falken Ziexs mounted as my new regular street tires. They smoke bad from a stop still, but they actually hook pretty decent above 20 MPH on the street now. Big improvement. Here's how it looks now:

Here's how much wheel grap it had before the springs (this was taken by a local photographer):

I think I'm going to get some chrome Bullitts for it over the winter. I like to keep it mild and relatively stock looking, but I'm a sucker for those wheels.

Damn! a 275/50 on stocks... I've heard of it for track us but never seen it for DD. I had 255/50's on my stocks and your 275's look less "balloned" then mine did.

They fit really well. I did a bunch of research before buying. They're a good bit taller than stock, but no ballooning.
