Congrats to Ken3030--he broke into the 5s at Irwindale last night with a 5.92 @ 116.XX mph @ 3800lbs (car + driver) at 22lbs boost with the KB 2.8 Mammoth. A 5.92 should easily be a 9.20 at Famoso next weekend in the 1/4 mile, maybe faster depending on how strong the top end mph is. Video coming soon.
Here is Ken's video. Sorry Ken, but sometimes there are just people in the way, I tried to get a clean shot but to many people. I literally had to watch the video 4 times before I could ignore the distractions and just stare at the car. If you can just stare at the car, it looks pretty strong. A 1.33 60' is pretty stout for a 3800lb car!

Silverpoison ran a 6.25---I am sure he will post up his own thread, congrats Eduardo!
Adam from ST Motorsports ran a 6.36 with the red 2011 5.0 with the 3.6 liquid cooled Kenne Bell supercharger. 6.40 in the 1/8th breaks into the 9s in the 1/4 mile, so that could be a high 9.8X in the 1/4. That car is impressive as it has stock heads, stock cams, stock exhaust, stock gears (3.15) --- but he does have forged pistons and rods. Ran 18 psi boost and Hooiser slicks. Video coming soon.
And Greg from RET ran his twin turbo mustang to a 5.30 @ 135 mph---pulling the front wheels past the 60' mark with a 1.26 60'. A 5.30 is roughly a mid 8.20 in the 1/4---this car has already gone 170mph in the 1/4 and Greg's goal is to break in the 7s in the 1/4---which would mean he needs about a 5.10 in the 1/8th.
All in all a great night at the track for these guys, fall air is finally here, I am going to join the party next week with my car.
