Put my GT on the Dyno today.

First time ever. Not making the kind of power most of you are used to, but I was pleased! Best pull was a 299.99 HP at the wheels (We'll call it 300, LOL), and 312 ft lb's of torque. That's a naturally aspirated 3v with a JLT CAI, 93 octane strategy tune, Steeda UDP's, BBK tuned-length shorty headers, BBK high flow catted x-pipe, Magnaflow Axle-backs and newly installed 4.10 gears. May have the tuner tweak my tune to level out my air/fuel, which may pick up a few extra HP, more so my engine runs a little richer. Going out to do some quarter mile fun right after Thanksgiving and really hope to break into the 12's with all of the mod's listed above new since the last time I went, all except the CAI and tune. Previous best time was a 13.68 quarter mile at 102 mph.

Nice, what is the 93 octane strategy tune? Is that just a canned tune from sct or did you have a tuner like BBR or Bama tune it? I have a jlt and new tunes waiting to be put on tomorrow.

Pretty good numbers I made 330 hp with my cams and stock cats on and aftermarket shorties I'm wanting to see what she'll do with the lts and off road x

Throw in some delete plates or FRPP intake manifold, FRPP or GT500 TB, and swap out those shorties for some LT's

thanks! yep, strategy tune would be the one from SCT, just a canned 93 Octane tune. Going to have the local tuner tweak the tune to richen up my air/fuel a little until I can afford the FRPP intake and possibly Detroit Rockers.

thanks, I was happy with them. Jealous about the cams, but just put 4.10 gears in so cams are on hold for a little while.

If I had the cash I just spent on 4.10 gears, I would have scooped up the FRPP intake that just came up in the Parts for Sale, LOL. Can only hide so many purchases from my wife, haha. : )
