Got some early numbers tonight. Unfortunately we had a nail in the tire that blew during the last pull and ended put night.

Pretty happy so far but lots of tuning to go. Considering its an auto its promising.

605 @ 9 psi
565 @ 7 psi

New tires go on tomorrow and I'll post dyno sheets when we are done tomorrow along with a video. Sounds sweet!

So Ken, something has been in the back of my mind since yesterday, you are a long time tuner, former shop owner, Diablo's head R&D guy, why is Jon working on this with you?

Really the question should be, why am I tuning this car.

Jon once told me that if he wasn't able to tune his own car, he would want me to do it. So that's exactly what I'm doing. Jon is very busy and hasn't had time to fly down to tune it. So we are doing it together.

I guess I never mentioned this is Jon's car.

He is going nuts up there not being able to be here in person. I told him if you think it sucks now, wait till I go 10's in your car this Sunday. :roflmao:

Wheres the video Ken?

I was going to video one of the last pulls. But after the tire issue we just called it a night. I'll get some tomorrow for you guys. It's amazingly quiet. I can wait to drive it around. Super sleeper.

Not yet. lol. But we really happy where we are at the moment. Jake did an AMAZING JOB. Not one single issue on the dyno. We designed and built this thing from scratch and hit 600+ on an auto on the first night with zero issues. We are some lucky SOBs.

Oh shit, it's Jon Lund's personal car? No wonder he has the Shelby for sale!

Yup, he decided he wanted his own 5.0. Traded in his V6 for this one and drove it down to me with 1,000 miles on it and asked Jake and I to 'come up with something cool'. How did we do?

That seems appropriate for a Lund car! I too hope it becomes a kit!!!! BTW, my 2011 Roush was his first new 5.0 car to be tuned by him with a TVS2300 on it! He did an awesome job!
