When you ignore PMs from the staff (2 fom me) and let the situation get to where it did, that is where it no longer is a private manner. Your contined obstinence to resolve this issue indicates to me that you were certainly in the wrong from the start. This is my opinion based on what I know.

Your reputation here is now sullied beyond repair in my view.

HOLYWD, yes it was between you and OP at first. But then when it came out that not 1, not 2, but many people were screwed in the same way - it started a chain reaction. You are like Sandusky to me. You screwed many of us but all of us gave you a benefit of the doubt since you have good iTrader. Then once one victim came out, many more came out.

This is no longer with just you and the OP. It's got to a higher level than that. I explained that 2 of my items that I purchases were not as described and I have had to spend my own money fixing defective parts that you described as good condition.

Towelly - I agreed to buy his dual pumps and FPDM on 11/12. He didn't want to deal with PayPal so I agreed to send him a personal check. I decided that he was a good-standing member and I could trust him. I sent him a check on 11/14.

11/20 - He sent me a PM letting me know that he had received the check on the previous day.

11/22 - He sent me a PM letting me know that he was sick but would deposit the check and send the pumps the next day. I told him to just get better, that I wasn't in a hurry.

12/2 - He sent me a PM letting me know that he had cashed the check but wanted to make sure it had cleared first; promised shipment on that day or the following Monday.

12/5 - Check cleared my account.

12/7 - I asked if he had shipped the parts yet.

12/9 - I asked again.

12/13 - He responded and was very apologetic. He promised to ship the parts on 12/16. I responded that it wasn't a problem but I was concerned when he didn't communicate.

12/17 - I asked whether the parts had shipped.

12/19 - I asked a mod to forward a message to his email since he hadn't responded. I reiterated that I just needed him to communicate. Towelly responded by PM that he would be shipping in a few minutes and would send me a pic of the confirmation. Then he sent me a PM asking for my address again. I sent him my address again.

12/20 - I asked if the parts were shipped.

12/23 - Crickets. Still haven't heard from him.

I think I have been very patient, but my patience is wearing very thin. I understand that shit happens and life sometimes gets in the way, but the least you can do is communicate with me.

I'm not asking anyone to do anything, other than maybe having the mods forward messages to him. I'm a big boy and will chalk this up to lessons learned. I just want everyone on here to know how this went down so you don't have the same thing happen to you. I will be leaving him the appropriate feedback.

As long as you cover your ass before you handle business then you should be good. It sucks this happen to you man especially before Christmas time. My guess is that he needed money for gifts and ran out so he no longer has the money to ship your item.

I dont get it...Everything I've sold here or on Ebay, I HAVE to ship the same day or next day of the payment being cleared. I wont sleep if I dont follow through. I also go the extra step to pm or email the tracking number even if its provided in PayPal or on the shippers website. It's just good business.

It's not worth ripping someone off and having no one trust you after, rather than being an honest person to where you can make more sales down the road and in the end make more $$$. These F*cks who rip others off here will get their karma. Just my opinion.

I also go the extra step to pm or email the tracking number even if its provided in PayPal or on the shippers website. It's just good business.

Yea, as soon as i see the "you have money email from so and so" there item is shipped via UPS the next day. Only way I ship USPS is if the buyer requests it.

When the final curtain is drawn, the only thing you leave behind is your reputation. I'd rather die broke then have people remember me as 'that asshole who ripped me off on that used part'.

I don't believe Towelly is out to screw me. I may be wrong but I think he'll actually send my parts eventually. I have no idea why he has let it get to this, but I think he'll do the right thing. It just drives me kinda nuts when a guy has my money, doesn't send me the parts, and then doesn't communicate.

/\ This!!! I send payment within minutes of agreeing on a price and have also shipped before receiving payment from trusted members. This won't deter me at all from using the classifieds, I am just keeping track of who not to deal with.

I'm not saying where I'd put the blame on this BUT I wouldn't send a PENNY in an internet transaction or anything else these days without my money being secured. If I cant use my credit card, I move on.

People are sick, bold, and stupid these days.

The only person I'd send cash to is my neighbor, that way I could pound him to sand if he didn't deliver.
