Thanks for the update! I "will" be ordering in about two weeks. Got the approval from the wifey. LOL!!!

Question. Is all the hardware included? bushings. nuts, bolts etc.. or is it just the K-member?

Awesome! I'll check with my boss on the hardware and get back to you. Usually with our K-member kits, you reuse the factory hardware, but I haven't installed the S197 k-member on my car yet. I'll let you know tomorrow.

I'll see if I can get a sneak preview of the sale list... :thumb2:

update: talked to the boss. The mounting pads for the motor mounts on our k-member are half inch lower than stock, but we have spacers to bring it back to stock height if needed. Our motor mounts have different durometer bushings that can be interchanged, but the mounts themselves are not adjustable for height.

Can it be ordered at stock height? I already have mounts.

Any word on if the kit includes hardware and bushings for the integrated mounts? Also, I noticed in another thread that UPR (Sharad) posted that it would be good to upgrade the mounts as well when installing the K-Member. This confuses me in that it states the K-Member has integrated mounts, so why would new mounts be needed?

Our k-member does not use stock style mounts. It includes mounting bushings/spacers that allow you to install the engine at the stock height, or 1/2" lower.

Thanks, that's the group buy thread.

Yeah, that was my bad. I thought our S197 k-member used the stock style motor mounts like our other k-members, but it does not. It uses a bushing/spacer system that has a lot less play than the factory engine mounts. As such, the upgraded motor mounts that we sell for the factory k-member are not needed with our k-member. I'll get some pictures asap and post them up.

Sorry I misspoke. I just haven't installed mine yet, so I didn't realize it was a different setup.

When can we expect the 2011 k-member?

I believe that the target date is January. Of course, I'll post a new product release here on S197 forum when it's ready. Here is the prototype:

It weighed 21lbs and the stocker was 47lbs. The group buy is over but JP may be able to help you out yet.
