its really sad that no one makes drag wheels for the longest running muscle car ever. Are imports really that popular? WTF is going on. This isnt rocket science. Measure twice, forge once...lol.

I can make one on CAD, but the cost of producing it would be more than Bogart's.

I talked to Mike on Tuesday. He said the 15" rear wheels were NOT going to fit. The front wheels have been revised to fit but we will have to have smaller brakes on the back. That sucks a fat dick. Fuck this garbage I'm going with 17's.

ok i came across these the other day they say they are a complete bolt on set .....are they full of shit or what ? http://rpmoutlet.com/05gt.htm#33
I wouldn't trust RPM outlet at all.

And $2000 (+$100 oversize fee) isn't much of a deal... for $125 more, you can get 15" Bogarts on all four wheels (not just the rear), and Mickey Thompson slicks/skinnies.

You also want to be careful about those Weld Wheels. They 9.50" wide wheels show to have a 6" backspacing here............
http://www.weldmotorsports.com/pdfs/Alumastar20MagnumPro1517.pdf

I talked to Weld about it and they flatly state that this is the correct backspacing for these wheels. I told them, "Sure....if you want the tires and wheels to hang outside the car 2 inches."

Here is what I paid:

Bogart 15x10 Drag Wheels, 2 x $460 ea = $920
Bogart 15x4 Drag Wheels, 2 x $300 ea = $600
Mickey Thompson, MTT-3057, 28.00 x 11.50-15, 2 x $209 ea = $418
Mickey Thompson, MTT-3009, 27.50 x 4.50-15, 2 x $144 ea = $288

Total = $2,226

In keeping with our goal of providing our customers with the best possible value, we have tested a large group of components specifically designed for the 05-08 Mustang GT 3 Valve Motor.

We have invested hundreds of hours evaluating and refining each of the new 4.6L 3V products on our MD Chassis DYNO, and at race tracks coast to coast to ensure that we would develop as much power as possible, and as safely as possible.

The site menu on the left side of this page, lists the clear winners when it comes to “performance vs. dollar” value. Please check back often as we are always testing and developing new ways to create more horsepower. (shown on right)

The stock motor probably only lasted one dyno pull at that power! :stfu:

Why??? What's wrong with this thread??? J/K...

About a couple years ago I think Cragar announced drag wheels specific for S197 and after further investigation it was found that spacers where required. What's up with the wheels manufacturers? There's the need and demand for them and nobody is stepping up to the plate...
