Im thinking a dual exhaust, the strongest toughest sounding, please recommend

a cold air intake with a tuner

the demon coil pack with taylor street thunder plugs, and the ngk spark plugs

that should basically total my $2,200..

opinions everyone?

Get CAI and Tune with exhaust.

well im planning on doing all, but are you just against the coil pack? ive read a lot that doing that full combo will really give it nice throttle response

also whats the difference between the c&L and the jlt cai and tune on AM, the c&l is $660 and the jtl is $575

The aftermarket coil packs have been a problem - if you do it, keep your stock on handy. Also check the plugs regularly because burned electrodes have been reported.

combo will really give it nice throttle response

Throttle lag is in the tune that you will get with the intake and tuner. The stock coil pack and plugs are really pretty good.

JLT intake, SCT Tuner, Bama tunes, MRT Aeroturbine axle back. Keep it simple.
With those mods your car should feel a lot faster and sound decent as well. Duals on a 4.0 don't treat my ears right. Save what you have left and be happy with your car. Don't blow money modding a 4.0

For that price you could find a nice 3v swap and do the work yourself.

There always gonna be the dudes say do a 3v swap well in the end I cost u way more then 2,200 to do it..

But anyways u want noticeable performance hop on the collective and wait for. A used f.i system to come up I sold my turbo kit I think for 2500

If not the I would do catback exhaust, gears,tune intake , Tires

X charger or turbo, you can be faster than a bolt on n/a GT with those. Anything else is a waste.

CAI + Tune, 8.8 rear or gears + posi, Take-Off GT Muffler, and some suspension goodies. Not much is worth modding on the 4.0 except F/I. CAI was a good mod for throttle response when I had mine. I'd focus more on handling and weight reduction if you want a fun car to toss around.

Put that money towards forced induction if you want to mod that engine. That'll give you the most bang for the buck in the long run.

With a turbo the stock 4.0 can hold almost as much power as a stock 4.6 with F/I, mid 400's rwhp.

Trade the car + the $2200 for a v8
IMO this will make you happiest in te end, coming from someone that had a v6 to start off with, you will mod the v6 to its max and then wish that you would have just put that towards a v8
