With the amount of boost you will be running it would be a waste of money getting the power pipe. I'd use the money on other stuff before the pipe.

Is bigger always better? !

thats what my wife tells me :headscratch:

I agree with Irishman though.. only 310rwhp with an SC?

I would not worry or play with it unless your hitting 10 or higher.. then at that rang you have to worry about the rods... its a vicious cycle =-/

I really don't agree with this, on any blower setup the easier air can get into the blower the more boost can be made therefore it's not a waste. If his setup was to pick up even 1 extra psi at less engine RPM it would likely be safer on the engine. You guys very often look at things the wrong way, it isn't always about peak power or trying to squeeze every last hp from your engine. As for the AFM power pipe working, I think it does a good job as my car ran 10.80's at 125 on the stock engine with a 3.48 blower pulley.

I make 488 on a mustang dyno look at my sig!

my bad.. the other numbers caught my eyes. 488 on a mustang dyno is about as far as you want to get on the stock block. you may not want that other 1-2 extra psi.

A good tuner in my area is hard to find, I wish there were more competent ones out there.

Alright guys thx for the help! I have another question I have a stock motor and im getting my car tuned again and my tuner reccomended me getting the pipe and switching to a 8 lb pulley to spin the blower less and bring in more fresh air to keep the blower cooler. So it will run more efficient but I dont wanna spend money on a intake and pulley if its not gunna help me. also im relocating the iat right before the tb does this help with more accurate tuning? Will I benefit from it! Thx

I would imagine you will be using a lightning temp sensor and splicing into your maf? It won't help tuning as much as it will help protect the motor. The tune can be set up to start progressively pulling timing at xxx iat helping to prevent detonation.
