Saw it on the way home from Toyotafest (Annual car show in LA). I rev'd at him to see if he would oblige but he just gave me a thumbs up and took it easy. Rumor has it it was Steve-o's dad? Not sure but that's what someone told me. It was just driving on the freeway like everyone else. This was in like 2008:

Is replacing the lower control arms worth anything? I'm looking at relocation brackets and am wondering if I should just do the control arms too.

I was always under the impression that the lowers didnt need adjusting, just the upper IF you have an aftermarket driveshaft that doesn't have a CV joint (I can only think of the DSS one that does, which is kinda cool).

Also Billy, I ordered a floor jack adapter plate for unibody cars, so instead of using the pad and bending the stupid pinch weld, it'll be much better for the car.

I needed an adjustable upper and I'm running the stock shaft. The stock shaft has the carrier bearing to allow angles but you're always better adjusting it.

The fact you need a T-47 bit for the install is super annoying

I bent the pinch weld on mine near the rear driver side tire... I was super pissed. It pushed out the rocker a little.

Yea, exactly. I bought this thingy that replaces the pad of the jack, and looks like this:

[_] so it jacks by the body, and the weld sits in the middle, and it was like $12.
