Nice....if only i had space for an extra oven...

Any oven that can reach 400 deg can be used even a toaster oven for small parts,

I have seen some people build upright ovens 4' x 3' x 2 on wheels
steel frame, rivet some steel sheating to the frame and use the heating elements from the cooking oven, some use the propane space heaters.

two tone is a hard thing to do with a gun like that. you cant control the kv's. make sure you sue good name brand powder.

Yes I know, I am looking at the Liquid power coating I was thinking about using high temp tape to mask off area, shoot the main color and use a heating element to just heat the area with the tape and as soon as it starts to gloss, pull the tape and fill the areas with the Liquid power solution. when it dries bake the whole item.
I am going to test this out on a scrap to see it it will work.

dont do any thing that you dont want messed up you have a bunch to learn.

Thanks,
I know I have, I really am doing it as as hobby and nothing more. But I love learning new things and learning from the professionals like yourself.

Any recomendations? Beginning Powder Coater's Handbook ?

When masking over a cured powder, is it best to pull the tape after the part has begun to flowout? I was trying to figure out if I can partually cure the powder before the second color.
I know some powders if heated again will haze or lose gloss.

I was reading different ways to do two tone and depending on how you do it affects the end product for sure. The Two tone coating will be a learning process for sure. I may start by doing my garden wagon rims they are starting to loose their coating and rust..

Two tone Green and yellow..
