The stock GT500 Twin Disc clutches have tendencies to chatter like hell sometimes.

good looking car.

its probably the Ram twin Disc if its chattering that bad

It is definitely going to have to go, that is for sure. I'm going to check and see if I can find anything out tomorrow.

Thanks! It has the same mileage the vert has on it!

It is definitely not a stock clutch, it is WAY too stiff to be a stock clutch.

Maybe I just need to get used to it. My exedy clutch in the GT feels nothing like this. Even the engagement point is way high up.

was that one a twin disc? the occasional chatter is only a minor thing for how she drives, i just turn up the music or step on the loud pedal

Nah, it was a single disc Mach 600. You can feel it chatter too, not just hear it. I guess I'll keep it until it lets go.

Probably stock! Chatter like hell from a stop, and stock clutches are stiff. Good luck with your build. Nice to see a 500 with some miles on it

I was told it was an aftermarket clutch by the original owner. I've driven stock GT500's before, it definitely feels different.

The clutch TSB was done on mine couple hundred miles before I bought it (around 9200 miles). Doesnt chatter and is easier to press than the one in my GT.
