You might know this seer...I have Chemical Guys One Waterless wash but it needs to be cut. How much do you think I can safely cut it before it loses the benefit of leaving no swirls? I already have Finish Kare #425 cut 1:1 and CG V7 as detailing sprays so I don't need a third

ugh, that product is such a headache which is why i only use utlima ww, or optimum, and dillute them to be QD's as well.

Only use distilled water, and i believe CG dillutes 8:1

It's my first waterless wash so I had to jump in somewhere....

My question is, will diluting it hurt its ability to act as a WW? I use quick detailer for only very minimal dusting and the waterless after a couple days of not dusting

Well, all waterless washes get dilluted with water.

Made a stop at Pepboys today, got a full Zymol detailing kit. I've heard good things about this stuff, can't wait to see how my car looks!

I'm going to have a hard time breaking this to you. Zymol licensed their name to turtle wax for the retail line.

The real zymol, the stuff you hear great things about, is a boutique product and only available online, at places like autoanything.com, amazon.com or zymol.com

I am sure what you bought is ok store bought stuff, but it is far from their concours level of products that they are known for.

These are the "Zymol" equivelants to what you had purchased:

HD Cleanse (Cleaner)

Field Glaze (Spray Glaze)

Zymol Clear (Car Wash)

So in essence, you still need to buy a wax or some form of protection.

I'm sure what you bought isn't crap... but you didn't buy the product that Zymol is known for.

whatever, I've been using Mothers and was not crazy about the application, left lots of residue. Hopefully this works out.

When I first started detailing, my dad had either turtle wax or the knockoff zymol before they changed their bottle design. The zymol cleaner wax was was decent I'd say, but was a bit of a pain to remove and left quite a bit of dusting iirc

Buy even the cheapest can of Zymol and you'll never go to pep boys for "wax" again.
