Thought I'd share my first attempt at swirl rmoval on my black 05. I should have taken picture before but the paint was pretty bad.
I took all waxes of the car followed up with Wolfgang bath shampoo then clayed with pinnacles kit, washed agian the got to work.

1st step was Wolfgang Total Swirk Remover 3.0 a the Porter Cable
2nd went with Wolfgang Finishing Glaze.
Sealed it up with Wolfgangs sealant.
Then a coat of Wolfgang Fusion wax.
Also used doctor color chip and was very impressed with how that works.

I was very happy with the turn out compared to the condition the paint was in before. I spent about 12 hours total on the car. Tell me what you think!

Also thank everyone for the help on the forum reading all of your posts helped alot. I still have alot of work to do on the paint with some slightly deeper scratches.

In the second pic scratch and spots are from my phone LOL

To see if you really got the swirls try some sun shots. Looks good overall. is that lint in the 2nd pic? and a scratch?

My phone camera lens is cracked. and it had spots on the lens.

Buy the brinkmann dual xenon hand held light, for about $26, and shine it over the areas. That is one of the best ways to find if there are any swirls hiding.

Yea next order thats on the list. Thought my led flash light would work. Had to pull it out in the sun. to check passes over the paint.

I have shitloads of rock chips on my car, does the dr color chip really cover them up good? Or is it like the touch up paint you find at autozone?

I am also interested in the Dr color chip for my daughters used car more info please

The small chips were covered well didn’t try on scratched though. It worked very well on my black car. I don't know about metallic colors I heard they were a pain But for 60 buck I was very impressed with the turn out, no sign of this chips after.

My dad's next door neighbor came outside I thought he was going to shit. LOL! The paint was in really bad shape before the work. My pictures don't do it justice on just how deep the paint looked. i know I will get better with practice and since I have a black car i should get alot of that!

About 8 hours and it should look a lot better.

A little tip, if its not a show car, you can get away with just a compound and a light polish on the lower panels.
