I've dealt with Fastlane for the past 3 years and have had no issues with them what so ever....

Ok, I just received a phone call in reguards to this thread. I'm an admin on WOT as well as a Fastlane customer. I have dealt with many shops in the past and Fastlane was among the top rated in my opinion. I understand issues happen and Lupo I understand your concerns. As for myself, no issues with FL. They even sent me a retune for some mods I was planning via email which I never completed so they never charged me.
Now I'm also a volunteer fire fighter and said car and garage that burnt down were in my district. I can say with certainty that the fire was NOT the result of anything Fastlane Motorsports did. HEll the guy who's car burnt bought Taylors silver Saleen afterwards. If he had the slightest thought that the fire was caused by Fastlane, he wouldn't have bought another car built by them. WOT is in good standings with Fastlane Motorsports and I'd like to keep it that way. I do ask that my members please reframe from bashing our sponsor shops on open forums. Fastlane does know about this thread and contacted one of our members this afternoon thinking that WOT has a beef with them, thus hurting our club/sponsor relationship. Also ask that my members please visit the members only section of WOT this afternoon.

IMO crappy service needs to be talked about, not censored.

This is the forum where you can let it all hang out without fear of being censored.

So the admins at WOT follow their members around and attempt to moderate their posts on other forums? Maybe take it back to WOT perhaps? As an S197 forum member I could give a rat's ass about policies over on WOT.

The "Blurp" is to follow in the next thread, but...

I never mentioned WOT specifically. I mentioned I was a member of a local club...probably a bad choice, but not really concerned. If I was lying, then I would apologize. I posted this as a consumer that was neglected, lied to (or let down at the very least), and basically called a liar (telling me I wrote down the wrong appointment that I READ BACK non-chalantly like some people do as they're writing).

The only time I mentioned WOT is when I asked another member from E. NC if he was a member of WOT. There is no affiliation with the club on my profile or in my signature. It for reasons like this that I don't "hang it out there" that I'm in WOT.

I enjoy the club, the comaraderie and the knowledge, but for a "major" sponsor, I'm pretty sure I should have gotten some sort of discount (even if its just 5% off or something) instead of paying for a tuning session that yielded nothing but a headache (and was properly fixed by a guy in Venezuela...through email). Or at the very least, some better customer service, rather than empty promises of returned calls and start up tunes.

Not saying anything against their work. Their tuning left me baffled and makes me wonder, but I haven't any other experience with their work other than tuning. So I don't speak of it. But I do have problems with their customer service. I've run a couple of businesses in my short career, one my own and two of them my families, and I would never ignore a customer three days straight. Once, sure, I can see a slip. I'm understanding. But three times, and one of which was a guarantee. Unacceptable.

The people can say what they will, but do not associate them selfs with the club when talking crap about a club sponsor. It would be idiotic to think that once they join the club they couldn't talk bad about a sponsor just because they joined a club.

As for the "blurp"....

I miscalculated my compression ratio. I went in thinking I was at 9.4 with 16cc dish pistons, and completely forgot that I'm at 8.85:1, which is really low actually. I'm going to be going back with a new pulley after my surgery because 11psi is not enough at 8.85:1 lol. I'm going to go back with the 2.75" pulley and try to hit 15psi.

I will also be upgrading the intercooler, the intercooler reservoir (bigger) and I may do some port work on the blower itself. I may also switch to an 8-rib setup at this time.

I started the day off with Lito's original "Idling" tune that he wrote me. He told me to take it to redline IF the A/F read below 12 after a couple seconds on the throttle. Suprisingly, it stayed at 11.8 almost the whole way up! Dyno showed 399 (my heart sunk).

Then he wrote me another tune. A/F got a little scary on that one so we shut her down and he made adjustments. The next 3 adjustments didn't work lol. The car would not start. Finally, he took the initial tune that I dyno'd first, and wrote a new tune using that as a "side by side" i guess. Let me just say when I started it up, it fired right up and I gave it some gas and the throttle response was so crisp and instant...I was shocked!!! It revved HARD right off the start! We dyno'd her and the numbers stayed right around 11.9-12.2. The car dyno'd 485 whp. I have the graphs on my other computer.

Like I said, I'm not happy with those numbers. I was expecting around 540hp or so. I think that when I go back in two or three months with my new pulley and cooling modifications, I should be right in the neighborhood where I want to be.

But for now, I'm LOVING driving a STREETABLE car that is making some GREAT power that I haven't really felt from her before!!! Thanks LITO!!!!! HATS OFF DUDE!

I did say WOT will not tolerate members bashing or bad mouthing our forum sponsors. See updated rules in WOTs members only section. If you have a problem with that then leave.

Fastlane is a sponsor in good standing order with WOT and we will not tolerate our members bashing them in a public forum.

The people can say what they will, but do not associate them selfs with the club when talking crap about a club sponsor. It would be idiotic to think that once they join the club they couldn't talk bad about a sponsor just because they joined a club.

You sure about that?

Yes I'm sure.... Dan didn't fully fully articulate what he ment. Common sense man, talk shit about whomever or what ever they want just don't bring WOT into it.

Lupo if you still want that crank pullet let me know.

No problems if WOT had not been thrown into the mix. The problem is being dealt with on WOT. I wasn't going to post on here but the club prez asked me to chill things out on here and direct them to the thread made on WOT. My point was made and all is well now. The post in question was also worded as if the whole club had problems with FL, thus causing concern about our clubs relationship with FL.

They can say what they want. Just leave our name out of it. My point was made at who it was directed to. An agreement was made and apologies were made. I have no problem with anyone speaking their mind. Just don't throw any names in that don't belong. Our forum/club relationship was risked with a sponsor because someone misworded a post so it read like the whole forum had issues and problems with FL.

Hey Dan, you are the ONLY ONE who brought in the WOT name. I never heard about before, probably most of the non local members as well were not familiar with it, whine else where about problems with your sponsorships.

We don't sensor here.

I personally do not care for your threats to our members, you run your board as you see fit and keep our board out of it.
