So why don't 10in wide square setups work?

The Wheels are about 20lbs each, the tires come in at 29lbs each, so it's about 46/47 lbs per corner. (for the toyo R888 and Forgestar F14 wheels)

EDIT: Fixed it, 29lbs not 27

...a standard setup for many are the Enkei PF01 18x10.5 +38mm. I run these with 285/40/18 GY F1 Supercar on the street and 295/30/18 Hoosier R6 on track...square setup, no spacers...never rubbed on street or track. They clear the Brembos with no problem...let me know if you want a deal on the Enkeis...

Cheap Saleen copies.

Marc, those Replica Wheels-Saleen style will clear Brembos without spacers?

LOL! I'm not sure what happened...these are photos that I uploaded for another post about a year ago...I simply copied the link, but didn't really look at my post...sorry everyone...not sure if I can 'downsize' the photos!.

The seat belts are just standard 3" 6-point G-Force harness.

That's a diffuser...they designed it to make it easily removable for access to other areas...I guess!

David your car looks sweet! Those PF01s are tempting...

the diffuser serves as the kids skateboard ramp during offseasons :)

NEMustang how far do these poke out in the rear? I was looking into this setup in the rear and either a 9-9.5 in the front.

I have a set of both the 18x9.5 +35mm offset and the 18x10.5 +38mm. I always run a square setup with both sets without a problem. The advantage of running a square setup allows rotation of my Hoosiers for maximum wear...no clearance issue at all...they do not stick out. I you look at the side view shot of my car in post #49 (with the obnoxiously large photos!!), you can see the rear does not stick out, nor does the front.

Nice to know, since they're only, what about $540 shipped, new IIRC.

Caveat emptor (let the buyer beware)

You get what you pay for...If you plan on tracking the car, inexpensive cast wheels should be avoided...I see them break all the time. A Miata flipped in front of me and decide to play "Turtle" due to cheap cast wheels...If you're just getting some bling wheel for cheap, go for it.
