question from a friend on mufflers.

have a question from a friend here in town with a 06 gt. he already has a intake and tune on his car and now he's trying to decide on mufflers and exhaust. he already has the frpp x pipe kit but not installed. he was wondering how well the ford GTA mufflers sound?he likes the stock exhaust note but just wants a lil bit more. I know only reason he's asking is he can get a set cheap.so gents what's the opnions.chris

i have the GTA mufflers and i love them!!! great fit and finish and they sound spectacular with an offroad h or x pipe...highly recommended here!

If they sponsored me, I'd be happy to show off their products Not that video clips really do any exhaust system justice, but it's better than nothing

Check out the Ford 5230-5gt ( ford racing's stingers), little more aggressive sound but great product.

Let me make this easy for everyone........in order of quite to loud w/comments

Stock = quiet
Flowmaster = Crap
Magnaflow = Nice low tone
GTA louder nice tone
Borla, Corsa, Pypes Ect. Louder yet and agressive but expensive...
MAC Loud Low Tone with Drone but nice sound
SLP Loud Mouth = Loud at shit Muffler deletes..

Sound is subjective you may like the sound of muffler X and everyone else Hates it... My advise keep muffler X if you like it...
