Wax or sealant on flat black painted wheels will definitely put some shines on the paint. Since LRS will void the finish warranty on the Drift wheels if you use anything stronger than car wash soap, it is almost mandatory to put some sealant on the Drift wheels unless you enjoys spending hours scrubbing brake dust off the wheels. I would describe the finish as satin black now.
I got some BLACKFIRE Wet Diamond sealant left over and here's what the Drift wheel look like. Brake dust comes off easily and water is still beading after 3 washes so it is holding up pretty good. I'm still running my Ferodo race pads so these wheels are covered in brake dust very quickly.
