1.27 '60 and still having suspension bugs!

Yes, 200 shot right as I release the trans brake is the 1.28X 60' times. Best 60' on motor only has only been a 1.37X, because of the nitrous converter and the 1.80 first gear of the powerglide--combined with a 29.5 tall tire. I would love to try the Pro M/T for some 1/8th mile runs. I have steered away from the DR simply because of economics though---I can get triple the passes out of a slick vs a DR--but I have no doubt that the DR would be quicker/faster.

I have been using the Hoosier DOT drag radials with success. They seem to have a longer life vs. the MT ET Street Radial DR's. It may be worth looking at a few threads on classracer and yellowbullet regarding other's experiences with them. Of course my car is slow compared to the one's mentioned in this thread but I feel these tires are worth a look.

Curious on this as well, I'm getting a strange 9" built and it would be helpful to know the width mounting surface to mounting surface and the size/offset on the wheels. I'm trying to decide what width to go with.

its narrowed about 2 inches i will have to look up the wheels.

Word is you dont feel like racing again. Its your car race where you want. Greg told me Friday you want to put a 4 link in and over thinking it. I was at the shop when the guys said lets take the car out (weekly). I know Irwindale sucks I crashed my Shelby there. Came out of pocket $10k to fix it so thats my excuse.

the welded Metco brackets were a pita to get them off, we added the new ones Kelly@ BMR sent us and the chassis guy added a brace to the 8.8 to add strengt and add some tow/strap tabs.

should be getting the rear end back early next week!
