Yes, 200 shot right as I release the trans brake is the 1.28X 60' times. Best 60' on motor only has only been a 1.37X, because of the nitrous converter and the 1.80 first gear of the powerglide--combined with a 29.5 tall tire. I would love to try the Pro M/T for some 1/8th mile runs. I have steered away from the DR simply because of economics though---I can get triple the passes out of a slick vs a DR--but I have no doubt that the DR would be quicker/faster.
I have been using the Hoosier DOT drag radials with success. They seem to have a longer life vs. the MT ET Street Radial DR's. It may be worth looking at a few threads on classracer and yellowbullet regarding other's experiences with them. Of course my car is slow compared to the one's mentioned in this thread but I feel these tires are worth a look.
