Hey guys its been awhile since I have posted here but I have recently had to deal with the passenger leak that seems to be a very common issue. First off I would like to say that I do understand that there is a TSB for this issue. Now that this is cleared can this be something that can be covered by my insurance. Now I know you all aren't my insurance company so I am looking for anyone else who has had this issue and was able to get it fixed through
the insurance. In my case this is a major issue because not only did it soak the carpet but now I have major electrical problems so this inst quite a simple fix anymore. Do you all have any experience dealing with insurance and the dealership with this problem?

The first thing my insurance told me is that they will NOT cover the damages if it is due to a manufacture defect. My final question to you all is, do TSB's count as a manufacture defect?

Thanks for any help guys, I do understand that a large amount deal with this problem. Their fore this is not a rant on how the water got into my. Just looking for insightful intelligence so I can go into this problem as prepared as possible.

Tab is NOT a manufacturers defect. Are you talking car insurance or an aftermarket warranty issue possibly?

Auto insurance won't cover it. It's a known defect and not an act of God like a flood or hurricane.

Don't think they will. Your SJB short out?

I guess the guy in the Bugatti Veyron has the same problem lol.. Well, maybe not exactly the same lol. Thought that was down there but guess it was off I-45
