My setup at 16psi and only pulled to 6200rpm 90 degrees out drove the car an hour to get there pulled right in and on the dyno made 680 rwhp on 93 octane. F1 procharger ftw

Nice. What injectors and fuel pump setup are you running?

I know i have been sharing positives about the Paxton Novi 2200 but want to share the only reality that relates to Paxton & Vortech (same company) is belt changes are not as simple as some kits it took me a few times on and off to get the hang of it the first time you do it its a PITA! especially if you have never done it expect to talk dirty to it #*\<%.
I also decided to run gates green belt HD because of this and haven't had issues since but also consider that mine is pullied for 900 rwhp.

Also 1 negative i had a friend experience with a Procharger D1 one step under F1 is the crank pulley is a double belt style which is better in ways but puts more pressure on crank snout So i wouldn't do a Procharger without having the crank shaft machined with a 2nd key. My friends D1 sheared the single key leaving the crank pulley spinning on the crank shaft his whole engine had to be pulled and disassembled to be repaired.
But the procharger is a nice kit.

Well told you guys I'd flip flop so it's a good thing I cant afford to upgrade till next year. Spent some time on the phone with Brent yesterday and we talked about just exactly what I want which is high torque lower rpm fun that is turn key reliable every day. So really the TVS 2.3L is going to get me what I want. I have no plans to race the car. Now will I take it to the track a time or two? Yeah, I might just for fun and to see what she'll do time wise. But mostly I just want a sick street car. Right now 450 torque feels amazing. I can only imagine how insane 650 torque is going to feel like with the TVS. Unless I'm a dedicated racer I just see no logical sense in going beyond that. 650 torque is very respectable and can be a handful on the street. So...at least this is where I'm at today LOL!

That's a good choice for a mostly street car as long as you know your wall is at 700 rwhp :banghead: and thats with e85 or race gas +ported heads + cams + long tube headers full exhaust off road mid pipe (full bolt on car with 2.3 TVS) with the 4.10s its going to be a very big handful on the street with street tires and you will find your self peddling car all the time. My TVS was a handful even with 3.73's and on street tires and 650 instant tq it was a peddle fest constantly backing off the throttle and i have all rear suspension mods including anti-roll bar you will need some rear suspension parts & more tire if your running stock suspension & tire. At a minimum lower control arms, one piece drive shaft, relocation brackets & it wouldn't hurt to have a upper control arm mount such as bmr and use the lower hole. Brent is a Bmr dealer he can hook you up. Also if your running factory ford limited slip it won't last you will need a Detroit true-trac or Eaton posi the true trac is suppose to not wear out because its gear driven not clutch packs like stock ford and eaton posi.

Timmbo don't forget about what that torque is going to do to the rest of your car. You've got the motor for it, but what about the rest of the drivetrain?

Timmbo will be fine as long as the power bug don't bite him like it's bit most of us..

If he's been bit real hard and must go posi displacement blower and wants room to grow beyond 650-700 he would need to go with a DOB department of boost 3 valve intake and a Whipple 2.9 or 3.4L with the 326 being nearly a 5.4 liter engine i would do the 3.4 do it once and be done...that's as good as it gets for a pd blower and our cars and it has more head room than kenne bell for power I'm not a fan of kenne bell. There's a reason why ford racing & roush uses Eaton tvs and Whipple = Quality.

Certainly. Fwiw I've seen a stock 3650 transmission survive several 600whp clutch dumps at the track before. On slicks sub 1.6 60' times.

Riptide your right the factory drive train will hold up alot longer since he's only going to track on occasion. And if he is going to run only street tires it will make it last longer too. Start doing some hard launches with PD TQ on some Micky Thompson drag radials then it's a gamble and could be a different story.
So he could mark off the drive shaft, true trac or eaton posi. And most likely be fine on street tires.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Rear suspension wise I've got UMI relocation brackets, UMI adjustable panhard bar and BBR aluminum lower control arms which are pitched downward on the lowest setting to put the power to the pavement. The stock wheels in the rear have been widened from 17x8's to 17X10s and I run the M&H 325/45/17 drag radials. Right now I'm getting great traction. I'm running a Shaftmaster 1 piece aluminum shaft. The 3650 from what I understand should be ok under the new found power as long as I'm not doing WOT dumps which would obliterate the input shaft. Most definitely before I decide to have a day or two at the track with it I will have upgraded to a T56 Magnum XL 6 speed as well as installing a BMR anti roll bar. I'm keeping the car a long time so I'm doing it in stages.

I'm sure the DOB setup is nice and sometimes having something thats capable of really pushing the limit can get someone like me in trouble. I know what will happen. I will start chasing numbers, changing injectors, fuel systems etc. Next thing ya know I'll be one of those guys on his third engine lol. Honestly part of the reason for the upgrade other than me wanting more power is I think it's a joke to have the M90 on this engine but for now I have no choice. I think upgrading to the TVS 2.3L turn key kit will keep me in check, be very reliable and give me all the power that I can realistically use on the street. After a long day fixing ambulances I don't wanna come home to fix stuff. Hell my wife has to beg me to change her cars oil. I wanna be able to drive my car, polish it and drink beer with it in the garage lol. Know what I mean?:wasted:

This is very true I'm one of those guys although i enjoy it it's my main hobby.
My second engine was a issue that caused detonation in cyl #8 burnt a ring and pitted piston in #7 cyl too engine was fine could have just put two new pistons in it. But i wanted a boss block. Thats why im on my 3rd engine if u include stock one and to me anything stock is a no count.
I already have anouther build im planning now all i can say is it will be YSi or Turbo.

But the procharger is a nice kit.

Here's what I did to the piggyback pulley. Got the idea from 19COBRA93. Drilled and tapped holes common to the balancer in addition to the anti rotation pins. So far so good. The best solution would be an ati or iw balancer with bolt on procharger crank pulley. I don't like relying on the stock balancer.

A lot of the fun in all this for me is the planning stage and I'm sure my mind will change again. The butthurt of the "kaboom" is gone and I'm back in the fun zone again. Patience is the hard part. I just appreciate you guys giving me the guidance to all the pros and cons related to my power goals. I have a lot of general tech knowledge and did all the mods to my car except build the engine, so your tips on performance help a ton.

I don't like to be the one to rain on someone's parade but your results are not impressive at all. I've seen big bore strokers with a little more compression and head work make that kind of power N/A. Something doesn't seem right.

Saleen07gt: this is not the first time I've heard of the larger cubic inches eating boost blower is just too small its ok on a 281 but jump to 326 very close to 327 ci motor its not enough air from a m90.
I have a pm from someone that was running a Saleen 2.3 blower at 15psi and when they went big bore stroker it dropped to 9psi now im not sure on CR of motor but a Saleen is a upgrade over m90 then they went with a kenne bell 2.8. That was a pm warning me that my tvs 2.3 may drop boost that was one major reason i went from eforce 2.3 tvs to novi 2200 to get boost back think it was Hawgman that pm me. That m90 is 1+ liters? Dinky its like a blow job from a innocent chick that loves u compared to a blow job from a desperate whore..;)
It becomes a restriction! The m90 is choking those cubes.
I wouldn't doubt Timmbo is seeing really low boost and probably spinning it farely hard to get what he's getting.
