All of the credit from this goes to TexasBlownV8, thank you sir.
Let me start off saying, you're going to have to build MIL Eliminators. When people say, "MIL Elims won't work on the S197!" No the, ones they sell online, and americanmuscle won't work. Because, the New Edge Mustang and the S197 emissions systems are different. For the New Edge all you need is a constant low input from the rear O2 sensor. For the S197, it needs to be in sync with the front O2 sensor. So... MIL Elim is the answer. And this is how you build one. Step by Step.
Place your vehicle on a ramp, or jack stands. USE JACK STANDS AND WHEEL CHOCKS!!! You're going to have to get under it.
-First of all, go to Radio Shack and buy about $8-$9 worth of stuff.
Tantalum Capacitor P/N 272-1434 need two of those.
And 1/2Watt Resistor, P/N 271-1134 Pack of 5, only need 2.
20 or 22 gauge wire. 6'-8'
Soldering gun.
Electrical tape.
Zip Ties.
-Second thing you have to do is take off your Rear O2 sensors, and bring them to a little work bench.
-Peel the outer sheath of the sensor, and cut the GRAY(-) and BLACK(+) wire right through the middle. And strip it back about 1/2".
-Take the 1/2Watt Resistor and the Tantalum Capacitor, and solder it to the BLACK(+) wire on the HARNESS side. Tape/Shrink wrap. Not the wire that goes to the Sensor.
-The other end of the Tantalum Capacitor, solder that to the GRAY(-) wire on the HARNESS side. Same thing, DO NOT mess with the sensor side of the wire. You can tape/shrink wrap this.
NEXT.
-Go back outside, pop your hood. Find the (2) FRONT O2 sensors, and unplug them.
-The BLACK(+) wire on the harness, strip a little section of it, and tap into it using the extra Black wire you got from the shopping list. And Solder/Electrical tape the connection.
(You can kind of see where that Black wire is coming out just next to the connector)
-Run the aforementioned Black wire down and away from exhaust/hot stuff and around where the Rear O2 sensor will be.
-Grab your Rear O2 sensor that you were playing with earlier. Get under the vehicle that is on JACK STANDS/RAMPS WITH WHEEL CHOCKS BECAUSE YOU'RE ALWAYS SAFE AND DON'T CUT CORNERS!!!
-The Black wire that was used to tap the front O2 sensor, that is getting connected to the open end of the 1/2Watt resistor. Solder/Tape whatever you want.
(There's the black wire on the left)
-When you are done. go ahead and tape everything nice and waterproof. Zip-tie the O2 sensor where it won't rub on anything and where the tip won't touch anything. I tied mine to one of the ears on the tranny that sticks out. Tuck the wires away.
--------
You're going to have to build (2) of these, obviously. One for each bank. And whichever side you do, you'll have to get the signal from that side Front O2 sensor. Left-to-Left, Right-to-Right.
---------
The BLACK(+) and GRAY(-) on the Rear O2 sensor, the one that connects to the sensor, they will NOT be used. cut the ends of them flat and just tape them up.
---------
Sorry I don't have any more pictures guys.
Any questions, I will answer them for you. This works 100%, I just came back from emissions about an hour ago. It does not say "Not Supported" you will not pass with that. When you build this it says "Ready"
With a turbo I don't have O2 bungs in the rear at all, so I can't do Non-Foulers. I had to build this, I'm glad I did.
Again, a big thanks to TexasBlownV8.
