I don't know why....but I expected more. Holding out on more performance/ power train info. 200 lbs less is nice though.

Just like every other overhyped release, it is bound to come up short. What I'm not sure about is whether we are looking at a base or GT model in the pictures.

Rear looks amazing. Front not so much. But I'm sure few aftermarket parts will take care of it. Overall I like it a lot.

Not bad...I do agree that the front seems a bit off but that's what the aftermarket is for though. I do like that interior from the little that's shown.

The lower rear looks like they copied the 2013-2014 3D Carbon rear skirt...

I also doubt that rendering is how it will exactly look

1. If this is legit, which a lot of "sources" are confirming, I bet someones getting fired lol.

2. It's a lot less fusiony then I thought it would look from some of the spy photos. So thats a big relief.

3. Interior does seem a bit busy.

4. Love the more "fastback" look to it, love the rear, and side profile and some shots of the front would have to see in person.

All in all I can't tell right now if I am impressed or disappointed. I am glad it still looks like a mustang, maybe it was the hype online about how its going to be all new and how it is not a huge departure could be why I feel somewhat disappointed. I will still wait for the 5th to make a final judgement.

They are still using coyote on GT trim right?
I have a feeling it's not going to be a huge leap forward on straight line performance like it was on new edge to 3v or 3v to coyote. But we shall see.

If the IRS is solid and the coyote gets a power boost via the likes of boss-like head revisions ( kinda like they revised the 2v head into PI heads) and/or DI; I can overlook the visual disappointment.

That dash looks like it was designed by Homer Simpson. That's about the nicest thing I can say about it. Maybe it will look more inviting, or even impressive, in person, but I think I lost part of my will to live when I saw it.

The front end will make the car sit nicely next to the Fusions at the dealers. Not that surprising, but still not that impressive, either.

Looks like I'll be adding another Vette to the collection instead of another Mustang. Damn it.

I would drive it. If you look only at the top 1/3 it reminds me of a 370Z.

Hmmmm...

It doesn't strike me and make me feel "Oh, that's badass" or anything, but I don't hate it either. Kind of hard to tell until I see one in person. Looks a lot like a 370Z to me. Also looks like any fantasies about backseat passengers will be put to rest. Not a fan of the grille - but I'm sure the aftermarket will fix that. It looks smaller, which I like. My coyote is a monster sitting next to my '89 notch.

Paul.
