Any advice for someone who wants to get into the sport with their own mustang? I do a lot of track events, and love the "grip" aspect. But the "drift" aspect looks like SO much fun. Can a stock mustang be fun at a drift event? (well Mine isn't stock anymore, but only suspension mods)

They occasionally have "practice" events here in vegas put on by vegas drift, and I'd like to go do one just to gain some experience, but it just seems expensive for 2 corners of drifting. (obviously need full cage to do any tandem drifting - and I wouldn't want to anyway, my car is my daily driver).

With just suspension mods and I'm assuming a V8 you'll be more than ok to start off with drifting. My advice would be to see if they offer any clinics or at least an instructor ride-along. But what it comes down to is steering and throttle management and finding where your car is 'balanced' and 'happy'. In this case practice makes perfect, and the more seat time you have the better you'll get.

Nice ride. Nice work. Love it.

And thank you for talking me out of taking my car to the track for drifting...

I will stick to the stands and be a spectator...

Good luck with 2014, unless it has been retired or destroyed...
Then the questions becomes, WHAT'S NEXT???

Can't wit to come back out and drive with you and the other guys again this year rachat de credit bancaire. I hope to put up a better showing then last year but I doubt I will be competing as my car is my daily, and a 10 point cage gets a little impractical for that. But definitely watching what you do with this. Wish i could get enough practice to get to your level...
But how do you do to join your team because I will also like to race.
