No harness yet, possibly tomorrow but I won't be at that shop unless something comes up. We had internet problems all morning so I went back and forth with working on the car.

I dropped the fuel tank, sucked all the 1 1/4 year old fuel out and installed the GT500 pump hat. Damn that fuel smelled old lol.

Took some time and installed the sequential tail lights too.

so much grime and leaves.

Also did other odds and ends. Organized tool box, organized extra bolts, misc and hardware.

Got the Raxiom ones. They are all pretty much the same.

I just followed you on there.

My brother is going to be at that shop today and will let me know if my harness came in. If so I hope to start getting everything back in the car tomorrow, button up everything in the front, attach the midpipe, fill up all the fluids and then order a tune from Lund. Just need to finish running the wires through the dash for a switch to the HE fans and then wire up the new gauges. The gauge pod should arrive soon.

If we don't have any hiccups then we should be good to go and have a first start up

Yea. The car isn't modded too much from stock specs to warrant a dyno tune.

Got the harness today, and dug in.

Evap box is a pita to put in with the engine but I've patted myself on the back for connecting the door harnesses in 5 min. I just can't seem to get the fudgin weather grommet to go back on lol

Managed to get the dash back in yesterday and then it was quitting time. Lost my steam for the evening and so I'll continue probably Sat.

Then I got home and got one of the most anticipated pieces of my interior, the gauge pod. Huge thanks to Zak (zporta)!

The caliber of work he puts into these things is top notch and I'm so excited to finally have it. The Aeroforce gauges will look badass peering out of this thing.

That is by far the best looking gauge pod I have seen. Now if they would offer a vert version with provisions for the top switch, I would buy one in a heartbeat!

It is a premium I was willing to pay since I just hate A-pillars. I tried to look at other solutions but nothing was as simple and clean cut as this setup.

Thanks. When I started blueprinting a project for this car it was between the following things:

-High Comp N/A 3V
-Coyote Swap
-GT500

For the money, the N/A 3V was pretty damn expensive to do it right and for that price I could put together a GT500 swap or Coyote. I choose the GT500 over the Coyote for the following reasons though.

*Plug and Play
*Boosted from the beginning
*Functional TC
*I'm an overall bigger fan of the 5.4.

I have never seen the map light gauge pod but I love it!!! Great idea and I'm with you Cam, I hate pillar pods. Nice pick up.

Thanks bud. I would like to put one in my vert later too, but Shelby is developing a new center gauge pod for the 2010-14 cars and I'll see how that looks. Hopefully it doesn't look as tacky as the 05-09 one and is for smaller gauges.
