Today I picked her up, new Whipple installed, new boost/oil-pressure gauges installed, running on a putt-putt tune until I can get it to the tuner tomorrow or Tuesday.

Got it home and the first thing I did was pop open the girlfriend's Shelby's hood for a side-by-side supercharged-Mustang pic :

Lol, thanks guys ...

Having a major problem with the throttle though ... it has a dead spot at the top of the pedal travel, then it gives too much throttle.

Part-throttle is also crap, hiccuping/bucking like crazy sometimes.

The kit came with a new twin 60mm GT500 throttle body, the tuner says on his laptop he can't see the throttle position sensor values change during that dead spot.
Short fuel trims are dead-on according to him.

Not sure if these cars have a tip-in adjustment, also not sure if the tuner looked at that.

The throttle body has a hex screw on top-right, this screw has some paint marks on it and on the throttle body, these marks don't line up.

Anybody have any thoughts?

no ideas here. hope your able to get it going smooth soon. I'm sure you'll figure it out.

Thanks ... he's got the timing dialed back, I left with 501rwhp ... I want more! ! Lol

But right now I want the throttle to be smooth again. This bucking crap is driving me nuts.

Do you have a vacuum leak anywhere? Have you checked?

The hoses/plumbing has been checked and rechecked, it's good.

The install is good.

I either have a bad part somewhere or a bad tune
