Late to the party. The $1000+ monthly payment is insane for a pleasure car IMO. I bought a Chevy C8500 class 6 truck with an Altec 60' aerial lift including a 2000 lb material handler (mini crane) and my payments were only $1121 per month for 5 years. IMO if you're going to spend over $1000 per month on a vehicle it better be making you a lot of money! But maybe I'm just not rich enough.
