Get a real catch can and I bet you pick some up again...Hence the JLT catch can collecting less oil....

So what's a real catch can? You don't like the JLT or the UPR one...

I never knocked UPR. I went with a Bob's...
Sorry I miss understood. I have a UPR and its not bad. I have heard a lot of bad stuff about the JLT one and thats why I didn't go with it. The only issue I have with it is they seemed to have sent me the wrong size diameter hose. I have my catch can for the passenger side and it has a smaller fitting then the drivers side. I need to figure something out with a step down or something.
I used a JLT on my 2010 GT with roush blower. It looked like a choc milk shake....aprx 1.5 oz worth of crap..... in the 2 oz container. When I switched from Ford 5W-30 motocraft eng oil to RP 5W-30, no more choc milkshake crap..and only half as much crap collected. I have since switched to RP HPS 5W-30...same deal.
I change the oil every 6 months on spec.... + new FRPP oil filter. My theory is the RP 5W-30......after the 2nd oil change using RP..... has cleared out the old crap + varnish + sludge deposits. Hence the JLT catch can collecting less oil.... plus what it does collect, looks like oil...not a choc milkshake. The choc milkshake is eng deposits, sludge, varnish, unburnt fuel, condensation, etc.
If you have a blower..and no catch can... u end up with a helluva mess. That choc shake ends up all over the blower elbow, blower intake, rotors, IC, and also the manifold. A catch can is a must have item.
That choc shake effect will also reduce the octane of your gas a bit I'm told..... how much I dunno.

Your signature line says you have a 2010. If you have a 4.6 then you don't want/need to use a catch can on the passenger side, only the driver's side. The engine draws air into the passenger side valve cover and blows it out the driver's side valve cover.
