Thanks guys, it was a big relief and was a major milestone in the project. It really is coming together.

Cut the bottom out? No matter to me, that's pretty cool!

I took the inner hood liner out before I even test fit it. I literally held the hood open and said its fly or die and let go and it shut perfectly. I examined it and have probably 3-5mm of clearance above the fuel line crossover.

I really think you should have the stock wheels widened to complete the sleeper status.

I'm gonna wear out my current Continentals and then this fall/winter I'll probably do that along with slapping on a 2.3 TVS with other supporting things.

no sleeper here...the brembos clearly give away the GT500 power plant underneath.

Damn it. All of this work and you got me.

Took out the new GT500 Carbon Fiber Driveshaft

Mocked it up under the car, clears and fits in with the flange adapter with no problems.

Took probably 90 minutes to wipe the rest of the tint gunk left behind on the rear window... what a PITA.

Pretty much everything is good to go but need to replace the faulty coolant hose with pin holes and the following

-weld in wideband bung + setup the boost/wb wiring
-figure out what the hell to do about the exhaust
-needs rear end grease

I'm still up in the air about the exhaust. I really wanted to run the FR500 mufflers but at this point I really am hesitant about using reducers. If I swap over to 11-14 OTA pipes I am not sure what mufflers to go with either.

Just make sure you have Darren level the exhaust. You don't want to lose any HP/TQ over imbalanced exhaust pulses.

If you go with the 11-14 OTA pipes then whatever mufflers you choose are going to have to be custom fitted because the length is different as are the hangers right? Trying to remember, it's been a while since I messed with any of the newer Axle backs.

I will. They are 2010 specific so they stick out a little further.

I believe the mufflers will stick out a little bit from the bumper but Sam (19COBRA93) runs 11/12 GT500 IRC and they fit fine besides them sticking out a little.

2013 GT500 is 2 3/4" while the 2005-2010 GT and GT500 has 2.5"

I actually liked how the 11-14 mufflers looked on my car. The tips did stick out a little, but I liked it. You do have to swap to the newer hanger brackets too. Easy swap though.

Couldn't you trim the OA pipes where they connect to the H (or X) pipe? Shorten them up an inch there and the muffler tips won't stick out so far.

How would you move the mufflers back an inch skwerl? The hangers are welded to the muffler.

The hangers are slip fit, doesn't matter. The hangers won't determine how far back or forward the muffler sits.

That's not a bad idea Brian, as long as there's still plenty of clearance around the axle and stuff it would work.
