The problem with running a 265/35 up front with a 305/40 out back is its really going to look awkward because there is a big difference in sidewall and the rear tire will be nearly 2 1/2 taller. I would go with a 265/45 up front much closer but still allows the rear tires to be slightly larger. I run a 305/35 and a 265/40 on 18s

That set-up is 2.5 inches taller in the rear.
