Once we get the pane out, it will make it easier to see how we put it together.

After seeing how it's put together, it is simply not possible to extract it without breaking it.

In other news, I bought a mint 01 Excursion 7.3L with 75k miles. Still upset about the roof not working out, but this has me happier lol.

That sucks about the glass roof, how did it crack? I thought they were suppose to be pretty resilient. The excursion is pretty awesome!

The urethane is done very thick from the factory and inset a little from the edges. Towards the back portion of the roof there is not enough give in an effort to etch it out and it just cracked and splintered all across. They are just not possible to remove without breaking. I had to call 3 glass places and only only 1 was up for the challenge.

I knew the risk since there is no guarantee on a safe removal either. I'm not incredibly upset though since I save the money I was going to spend on the actual transplant procedure.

For what I purchased it for, I committed robbery. Has all books, records, factory invoice, original window sticker, etc etc. Shopping for a 4" lift already - needs it baaaaaaaaaad
