Thought i would just post these 2 basic questions to get opinions. Can't find what I'm looking for through search. Have a new to me 2012 gt. So most people are keeping their 3.31s?(ordered a traction lok disc kit to lock it up) manual car..

And I'm hearing these cai that come on the car are just as good as an aftermarket cai if not favorable for the stock one? Just looking for opinions on both topics. Thanks guys. No plans for boost as of right now.

CAI discussions abound on the board - no gains from them on the coyote, the power gains are in the tune.

My bad guess I didn't say it right. I've already checked my differential and it say 3.31s. So just wondering if most people keep these if they don't go boost. This car won't be at the very often so I like those quick little 100 foot pulls driving on street and want the most "thrown to seat" experience I can get n/a. Which is why I decided against the boss 302 intake manifold because i want my torque and power to be in my low rpms

I'm so confused by your posts. Are you wanting to lock the axles or rebuild the LSD? From your other post saying you want to get rid of the LSD and tis one saying lock it up, makes me think you are wanting to run a spool. What is it?

In just trying to get rid of my one wheel sqealin. On my 05 gt I had 4.10s installed with that traction lok rebuild kit and it remedied that problem some how

Oh OK. Your LSD is worn out. You are rebuilding your LSD so it works properly. It doesn't "lock" the axles. When you fix it it will still be an LSD like a "posi" or duragrip rear end. They all work off of friction. Then you have helical gear rear ends which apply power to both wheels like an LSD but use gears instead of friction. Then you have a spool which basically locks the axles together.
