OMG Guys, muhfuckin T56 Magnum XL in this bitch.
I should have done this years ago!
It shifts like butter...
Dipped in baby oil, slathered in KY and sprayed with furniture polish...
My goodness! I still have to break it in and be easy on it for a while but I can't wait to hit the track with this thing.
The feeling of powershifting whilst NOT destroying your syncrhos is going to be fuckin magical!

I may go with an MGW shifter, kind of miss that "click click" when i shift but maybe this is better for power shifting it just flies into gear!

Lemee get this straight. The 3650 is rated for 360 ft lbs of tq..and the XL is rated for 700 ft lbs ? And that's coming off the crankshaft of the eng. I think the 6060 used in the GT-500 is a XL derivative..rated for 600 ft lbs. $ well spent.

Too nice, and it's not even broken in yet!

True that! the T56 magnum from what I read it basically beefed up 6060.
The power I am putting down isn't even going to make this trans flinch. Figure I'll be good for quite a while on the track.

Did you do the install yourself or outsource it, if so who did you use?
I can't deal with that shit with my back, Rob's Performance installed everything for me.
Perfect job! He's done a few things for me.

Thanks, I am trying to budget one of these for 2018 and will need it professionally installed
I had him do steel clutch line and the GT500 clutch slave cylinder while he was in there. Moves more fluid and is all metal.

My 3650 looked amazing inside, save for some missing teeth off of the 2nd gear slider which I "fixed up." All of the blocker rings were great - the car didn't shift for shit because of the flaky clutch release system.

I hope I can get a maganum some day, but am also hoping I get some good service out of my 3650. I don't drag race.

I've heard that the Steeda Triax shifter is the better choice for the Magnum's....yes, better than the MGW....hard to think possible since I love my MGW on the MT82....but the Magnum is a totally different beast.
