I remember the bicycle story, what was the origin of that

Now I sort of forget. It was when I purchased a unmarried SCT 4 for a Raptor for $100. It had all these custom tunes for a Raptor but none for a Mustang. I called the company and they said I needed a $150 custom tune from them to add to the SCT and would not tell me how to reset it. In the end, I reset it and updated all the software from their web site that took hours. It worked fine but I decided not to use it so I resold it for $300. In the research, I can across a report from a Ford Employee on why they do not honor warranties on out of house tunes. This is the same report that said only BP sells 93 gas all the time. I think his point was, programing a tune does not mean you disconnect the knock sensors and then call it a 93 tune.
