Hi, guys. I’ve been seeing a problem over the past couple of days. I can’t see the meme thread anymore. Any time I try a link that someone sent me. It just says I don’t have permission to see it. And even now it doesn’t even show up on the latest post feed for me. Is this something on my end?

Actually I think it may be a bad cookie, so I would log out first, then clear your cache (or delete the s197forum cookies), and then log in again.

That’s what it tells me. Something also worth mentioning is it doesn’t even list the thread on the forum for me. I had someone send me a link to it. That’s how I’m trying to access it. As when I’m on forum via google app, the thread doesn’t seem to exist for me.

What is the link that you are trying to follow? We don't have a current thread titled 'meme' anything. We do have a "WTF is that?" picture thread & Funny picture thread.

I am having the same problem. Cleared all cookies and cache. Still not visible. Tried 2 different browsers (Chrome and Brave).
Open to more suggestions. I view the forum via goggle app on a phone. I’ve already cleared cookies and data multiple times on my phone in general, and exclusively on the google app. No success. I also don’t get the message of accepting cookies to use the site, after those attempts. I’ve enabled all cookies listed on my phone. Still no success. Currently a computer isn’t an option. So, if there’s something else I could do to maybe fix this, I’d be open to trying anything.

I am having the same issue, the "WTF" thread is no where to be found. I do not use ad blockers, I have tried clearing cookies, two different computers, different web browers, and using my phone, same issue.
Can others see the threads?

Yes, it's visible, and it works for me. I'm using Vivaldi on an old Dell running Win10.

If you are able to view the Pitstop subforum, then the only other explanation I can think of is if you have the thread starter on ignore. And who would put Dascoyne on ignore? https://www.s197forum.com/members/dascoyne.5622/

Here are screen shots of the forums that I can see. I do not have anyone on ignore.
I haven’t found a solution yet, nord. I thought about going to my local AT&T store to see if I can completely delete the cookies on my phone. Maybe that’d work but I’ve tried multiple different things to try to fix it. Still no success. I use the google app on my phone to view the forum. That’s all I use. I had someone send me the link to the thread and it says I don’t have permission to view the thread. Someone here suggested a bad cookie. I’ve tried numerous variations of what to fix this, but nothing yet. I’m still going to try to do the Deleting cookies and hope that works.

No solution for me, either. Tried on a Windows machine, an android tablet, and on my IPhone. No luck.

It appears you do not have access to the Pitstop or the gun sub forums. So when you are granted access, you will be able to see those threads.

I did have access to those sub forums in the past, because I have viewed threads in them. Seems that access has been removed for a few of us somehow.
