First time post. I have a 2008 Mustang V-6 with automatic transmission. Parked it last night and in the morning would not crank. With the key out the security light is flashing. With key in and in the ON position it stops flashing. When I turn the key I can hear a clicking in passenger kick panel. Battery is fully charged. Lights work, horn works, radio works, windows work. I've tried swapping starter relay with horn relay. I'm stumped. Any help would be appreciated.

Are you sure the click is from the kick panel? the starter is also on that side of the car, Maybe the click is the starter engaging? Check the battery has 12v or above first regardless if its fully charged. what is your night temperature like outside at night time atm?

I had the battery tested today, checked out ok. I'm not positive exactly where the clicking sound is coming from. I'm working on it alone, I can't move around the car and listen for sounds and turn the key. Night time temps are in the 50's here in Texas.

I believe my best option is just having a mobile mechanic come and diagnose the problem.

I feel you, its like 1-2 Celsius here ATM. It could also be a bad earth to the starter. Best to get a mobile mechanic to have a look if your not sure what the issue is.
