Engine bay dress up/ wire tuck

Hello everyone this is my first time posting in a thread. A little bit about me and my project I am a 21 year old mechanical engineering student so I have a very good idea of complex ideas when it comes to working on vehicles but this is my first project car so I can be wrong alot or not very knowlegable so feel free to correct me.

Having that said I have a 2007.5 mustang gt with a ATP twin turbo kit running 7-9 psi on stock internals with hot rod cams. My car sounds and runs GREAT now but the bay is A MESSS and I need help.

I am having a hard time making the bay look clean theres just to damn many wires and vacumn line connections...

I had a few ideas like trying to find or make some sort of extension harness for my fuze box I have seen people do this but it looks like a PAINNN. Surely out there somewhere somebody makes harness extensions for stuff like this right???

I also had thought about getting rid of my ABS to help with clearance issues and moving my coolant resivor which is simple enough.

Does anybody have any recomendations for cleaning up the bay or easy ways I can make this MESS look better??

I already have bought a kit for my vacumn lines so that should be cleaned up and I thought about getting some turbo blankets from Funk motorsports...

You all know the anoying groww wiring I am talking about so if you have any ideas please comment.

I also re ran all the wastegate/bov lines outside of the car now its mostly just wiring at this point that is bothering me and ugly engine bay components

Cool car! Personally I don't think it looks bad but I'm used to driving beaters. I wonder how much of it could be tidied up by using zip ties to hold things more in bundles that split off like the injector wiring rather than a bunch of individual lines.

On the ABS, I don't see why you'd want to remove it, especially at an elevated power level, but again that's probably just me.

I have made alot of changes to the electrical and vacumn lines and to be honest I really wish I could almost make it look "stock" even though I have moved my battery and installed 2 turbos. maybe removing the ABS isnt a smart idea but I do have fitment issues with it causing my boost pipe to push up on my radiator cover and looking bad that would be my only reason. You can kinda see in the picture below.


I am also not a big fan of the stock resivors does anyone have recomendations on covers etc. I really want to move my fuze box but it seems like a pain heres a better look at some of the wiring below that I am talking about...


I can attach more pictures of what it actively looks like or my solutions when I am home.



I obviously loomed alot of these together but with no battery in the front they all go to a post right beside the fuze box and then oct gauge solid copper back to the battery in the trunk.

I spliced a Jegs air/oil separator in the OEM tubing.

Unless I am crazy is this a 5.0 this doesnt look like a 3v... But the covers look amazing I will look into those and also do you have any idea what that color is called on your valve covers and suppercharger that is the coolest look on these cars TBH...

I rewrapped my loom when I had the engine out last year, the loom was tired and shabby looking but thankfully working ok. It only seemed to be factory wrapped with insulating tape and plastic conduit that had got brittle and fell off in places. I wrapped it with cloth tape and added new conduit on rub points. The early S197 looms on anything with higher mileage are getting brittle now.

I actually just bought heat tape online and am currently doing this I will share my process I think it looks worlds better than the factory harness I got enough to do like 3 cars for 9$ best 9 bucks I ever spent for the engine bay Here’s a before and after

OP, random question.

What hood vents are those and how well do they actually remove heat?

The MMD ones are no longer produced and am trying to vent out some under hood air.
