He writes it will not add horsepower it is just a gateway for other add ons like cams, valves and exhaust????? Estimated cost is $650
Yea but if you have a 20 psi 12 " slong then you are in business with this thing !$650 and no power added? Thats like a gay dude with a 12" slong in a hore house!
Matt Rigney wrote on Fordblog.com on June 18. This manifold will go on sale later this fall. He writes it will not add horsepower it is just a gateway for other add ons like cams, valves and exhaust????? Estimated cost is $650
First: Who the hell is Matt Rigney?
Second: Got a link to these pearls of wisdom?
That being said will this thing (or any other aftermarket intake ) help anyone who stays under 6800 rpm ? I notice my stocker levels off at about 6000 to 6200 on all my graphs . I mean at $650-$800 I am going to try it but what do you guys think .

Matt brings to the table a very intimate knowledge of modern Mustangs, Camaros and Challengers not only from the books in his collection but from actual ownership. Over the past fifteen years his passion for Mustangs have led him to own eight different models including four fox-body's, three Cobra's and the latest being a Shelby GT. In high school during the early 90's Matt was knee deep in the pony car wars with the 5.0 Mustangs and Z28 Camaros battling it out each year. It was during this time he developed a love for all cars especially ones that went fast. While earning his bachelor's degree in Entrepreneurship and Strategic Management in 2001 from the University of North Texas Matt developed his first automotive website, MustangHeaven.com merely as a bullet point on his resume. Since then he has owned, developed and written for several Mustang, Camaro and Challenger websites including automotive blogs, which he still owns to this day. Matt currently lives in the DFW area holding down a day job in the water treatment industry. He is an avid soccer player and die-hard sports fan of the Rangers, Mavericks and Cowboys.
Yes .my take is it won't help
do you have charge motion delete plates?
LOL! Sickem SD !Thanks Gig.
Now then.........I just love how this jackass blurts out that "the manifold won't add horsepower". Until I read his bio.........
Wow. I'm just so.....so.......so.......impressed I could puke all over that resume. He's owned a few Mustangs, has a big ol' library full of books on them, owned-developed-written for websites and works as a fuckin' sewage plant operator. Well fuck me sideways.....I reckon he's downright qualified to write such a piss-poor blog on a new piece of hardware. I'm sure that degree in Entrepreneurship and Strategic Development plays a significant role in his ability to judge the engineering and design of this new intake manifold. Golly....I'll be he even discussed it with his soccer team and they all agreed it won't add any horsepower but it sure looks snazzy and will lead lots of people to add ported heads/cams/blowers/throttle bodies/etc/etc.
What the hell has this world come to when shitheads like this can post crap like that on a worldwide website and have people running for cover and discounting a product before the goddamned thing even hits the market??????? If I was Brian Wolfe I'd send a few linebacker-looking gorillas to this jackwads house and tune his ass up. First we have some self-righteous homozealot blogger fucking up the Miss America pageant and now a sewer rat with a library card is dissing a new FRPP product before the damn thing hits the market.
Somebody call AutoBlog and tell them I said to fuck off and die. As for Matt Rigney......go kiss a fat man's ass and leave the hot rodding to us, you dickshit, moronic, Fuktard.
SD you know in this age every pissant out there is an instant expert on any subject that comes up. Ford should jump on this quickly before everyone gets the idea the new intake isn't any good.
Earl

I couldn't of said it any better Sd.
Sorry for getting everyone all pumped up with this thread when I havnt jumped through loops yet on the dyno. Im going to roll the car out thursday and get this done
