i am new to nitros and am looking at getting a zex kit for my 07 gt i will probably run a 75 or 100 shot, the only other mods i have are a steeda cai with elbow and a bama chip tune.
What are the rules for safe zex?

Ahhhhhhh the can of worms has been opened. I'll spare you the usual ranting around here and inform you about the search feature at the top of the page. I run the same kit with a window switch http://www.zex.com/Pages/40/TC Window Switch.aspx anything over that 75 shot it's recommended to go to a colder plug. There is a whole pile of info on this topic here from people alot more experienced and smarter than me. so i suggest you get comfy because you got alot of reading infront of you Good luck

I wont jump on the band wagon and jump your shit so to answer your question here is my experence with zex. I have ran up to 125hp with no problems however I only have 8,000 miles on my car. Before I ever ran my first shot I upgraded my plugs to the Brisk two degrees colder plugs and I always make sure I have 93octane fuel that doesn't have the ethonl adiditve (not sure if that plays a factor I just wanted to make sure it wasn't one) The bigger the shots of n2o I spray the more I up my octane level as well to make sure I dont PING and BOOM! I never spray under 3000 rpm either and I dont take my spray into the redline.
Here is my little rule book lol
75 shot 93 octane
100 shot vp100 street blaze fuel
125 shot Vp Motor sport 109
P.S. I am not saying this is how it has to be, this is just my way of making me feel better on the spray.

Hmmm been answered millions of times but i will throw it, 100 shot is fine imo go for it u'll love it just dont powershift with n20 not fun... >_>

Tune a good one will make it safe >=)


Side note anything above 125 shot i would say plugs and fuel pump or you'll have a big bang theroy in the engine bay....
