Improved on my best by a couple hundredths last night at Irwindale. I need to change my 02 sensors and plugs but even with the car missing, I was able to put down a 6.63 @ 104.

Next week running strong, I'm expecting a little better as I dial it in for FFW on the 19th.

For those wondering, my car is putting down 628 rwhp and 648 ftq. @ 21 psi.

The tune is actually conservative and a little rich with the a/f running in the mid 10 range. Trying to baby it in and will slowly make it a little more aggressive over the next couple weeks while I dial it in.

I've only got a 6 point cage so I'm trying to get right on the 10.01 dial.

Excellent work, congrats!

Mark---I was watching your car twice, and when it left the line it looked flat to me---what were your 60' times? I guess fouled plugs will do that to you--but that car with a low 1.4 60' should be in the 6.50's. Going next week? I'll be there with the race tune, ice, and 109!!

Congrats Mark

glad to here your time is improving. This is Tony by the way. I blew my motor on Saturday so I will be missing fun ford weekend. Good news is Adam is building me a new motor so I will be able to run faster soon. See you at the track on Thursday.

Welcome to the forum, Tony!

Bummer about your motor, though... at least you'll be able to crank it up some now.

Dang, just have him throw big black's motor in your car so you can still make FFW!!! Since your car was a dd, are you taking public transpo to the shop now :thud:

It's probably out of the question to have her take public transpo, while you borrow her car... but you could try.

Man that sucks Tony.

At least you're getting a built motor but you just have to put up with the wife over it. Been there, done that and it's not fun...lol

Jeez, ST makes some awesome rides but it's pretty much fact now that if you want a bad ass car from ST, you better count on a new motor in your budget.

Adam should just quote a new motor and trans for all new customers when they walk in the door. No matter what you want, we all seem to want and need more once we start.

I'm done referring to adam is my 'builder'. I'm just going to call him what he is... my 'DEALER'.

Crack ain't got nothing on this mod drug I tell ya...

She said it was Ok to get the motor completely done so I think I will be on the "Honey Do" list for the next 12 months.

I dont know exactly how you feel yet Mark but I am getting there. The list keeps getting longer.

Hey do you guys know where I can get an aftermarket drive line ( Mine is still stock) but I figure I should do that now as well as build my tranny ( I think I know someone who can do the trans lol)

It all depends on what trans you put in and how much power you want to make. Where do you want to be power wise and what trans are you going to put in? You have the whipple right? Let me know where you want to be and I'll give you a mod list in order of importance.

Mark I have a 2.6H Kenne Bell on my car and I would like to ( slap the shit out of Ken again) oops I mean get in the 10 sec bracket. I would be happy with high 10's because i still want my car to be a daily driver. Any advise that anyone has would be appreciated.
