So many options, I really love the fit and finish of the 10's over the 05-09's.

I ordered a 11 already from the dealership I work at, but not like I have to buy it. Contemplating a turbo real bad on the 10 I already have. Of course we just got another GT 500 in today. That would be sweet too.

Already had an 08 though. Never done a turbo either.

Is the power potential of the 4v heads gonna be that great to make it worth it that much to move to the 11?

Of course the shelby even at invoice is 45500, so 12k more than the 5.0

I say go turbo and wait a year or two for the bugs to get worked out of the new 5.0. If you are wanting to get a different car go for a gt500 so you have a better platform starting out.

I'd trade the 10 on one of those new SHOs. I heard they are pretty sweet ;)

actually i think you guys should worry a little more about the 6 speed tranny than the engine reliability...u do realize that it's a Gertrag now intead of the trusty ole Tremec series...all the power in the world doesnt mean dick if the tranny is a bad design.

It would hard for me to say. If I had the money I would go GT500. They have built motors stock and boost already. The only thing is I really like building the GT's to run. That also because I can't afford the fast ones. LOL If you turbo the 10 you should have around 500 rwhp. The 11 will have 412 crank hp stock and you should be able to boost them also. Which should be more rwhp because you start out with more hp.

I would say GT500 or the 11. I have a 08 and I was wanting to trade mine in for a 11 but now I got cams in it I kind of fell back in love with my car. I love pulling up at lights, gas stations, drive-thu's and people ask that car got a cam in it? I just laugh and say yea 2 of them. LOL

It will cost alot more to cam the 11's and I love the idle of my 08. So I think I'm going to turbo mine and just keep the 08. I didn't give but 21,900 for my car new so I know the 11's would be more expensive than my car. So don't think I was much help. Good luck with what you deside.

If I had the money I would buy that gt500, then remove the stripes and Shelby badging (leaving just the cobras), new pulley, CAI, tune, and get it to the track for some good fun! But since I dont have the money, I cant do that....but maybe you can...that is my .02.

the new 5.0 will be pretty cool, i don't think more than 500rwhp will be available without a rod change, if the rods are indeed powdered which the 5.0 article says they are.

it will be easier to get it there, but cams will be more,

i've had an 08 gt500 that i went 11.17 with a pulley, cai and gears in

i've also had a procharged 06 gt that i went 11.9's in

the only car that will get to the 10's without building the motor is the gt500

not that i have to go 10's, but i like going fast,

i haven't done a turbo before, so it would be fun, of course that could be done on the 11, but then your spending the same money for the same rwhp, just less boost

ugggghh, i loved my high revving 99 shifting it at 7650 was the shiznit

'10 GT500. Love mine. The SC whine is addicting...and I love the fact that it's this fast out of the box, with a warranty! Mine's got no stripes, but it does have Shelby's name on it.
