Okay guys (and gals), here's one for you that's related to a Ford product, but not the Mustang.

Do any of you have plans yet to offer performance mods for the new Taurus SHO? I have a buddy who just picked one up, used to have an '89 SHO and knows what he'd like to have done with this one. But, there's nothing available yet, not even a K&N air filter.

So? What's up and coming for him?

(By the way, he let me drive it today and it's fuckin' badass. And truly, will give the rest of the Mustang owners a good run for their money. We'll be heading to Baytown soon if anyone wants to run a few with us :) )

Unfortunately, it looks like an ass-popsicle...

And someone says that about every new Mustang that comes out, too.

I'm just glad to see that Ford is still trying to inject a little fun/performance/balls in their cars - Would you rather have it look like a super model and have an under-powered powertrain?

Hey. don't get me wrong, I like the direction Ford has been going (sooo much better than GM right now), I just am not sold on the styling of the thing. I *am* glad they made some relatively daring decisions and didn't turn it into the 500, which looks boring and ugly...

The original concept car for the 500, the "Forty Nine", was gorgeous! I saw it at the Ford 100th celebration. Then when I saw the 500 - WTF?!

I'll see if I can dig up a photo of the 49.

Found it:

Hmmm... some elements of the now-defunct Thunderbird... you can almost see fins on it...
