Anyone have this intake on their whipple ? Just wondering if you had to modify the firewall ? I think my mine is touching because the cabin noise if pretty bad...unless its just the fact that the intake is thinner sheetmetal...Thanks...

You should get a hold of Don W. He has used their custom fab stuff all the time, still does I believe. He could probably tell you better than anybody else... as well as Paul (psfracer). He ahd a whipple on his old setup, and I BELIEVE he had Adam's intake. Give em a hollar...

Im trying to convince my close friend to run the 2.8 on his Cobra... he doesn't wanna pop the stock motor though... :handjob:

Thanks...I will try to get hold of Paul...in his videos it doesnt as loud as mine does ...i bet mine is hitting the firewall and everything is going through the cabin..

If you have the sheet metal intake to the back of the blower, then yes, the firewall needs to have enough clearance in one specific area. Its pretty tight back there:

You put the sheet metal manifold on the back of the blower before you put the blower on the manifold, makes it alot easier.
