The other day I had a close call with a dog running out in front of me. If it wasn't for just having a light about 400ft before hand I would have been going too fast to stop in time and really ruin someones holiday and killed their dog. I was going 25 in a 40 and when I nailed the brakes and his head disappeared and I thought I hit him and sat there for a few seconds until I saw him run across the street again behind me.

I have Hawk HPS's in my trunk waiting to be installed sometime next month but I just want to look into SS Lines as insurance. What is the difference besides price in the different lines, Steeda, Earls, StopTechs, & Russells? I know websites always claim to be the best by adding extra coverings and what not but they all look the same in the pics.

Right now I'm between Earls & StopTechs. Any real difference besides name, reputation and a 100 bucks?

I went with the kit we have due to discounts :)
Any one you go with will make a nice difference. The first time I had to do a panic stop in traffic, I could tell. Along with the HPS pads and Powerslots, the only thing I worry about now is the guy's brakes behind me.

How's about sending me a PM with a really nice discount for your kit....? Don't be afraid..cut it really deep!

Oh, I see you are not a vendor.... (sorry) maybe a coupon code or something then?

If I hit their rear bumper I pay, if they hit my rear bumper they pay. No matter whos at fault the insurance company usually blames the person whos rear got it.

Plus I'd rather have someone hit my rear and hurt my bumper/exhaust then hitting someone and maybe hurting my supercharger.

I agree I got rear ended about a year ago (right after spending all morning cleaning the car) I did get my FRPP Stingers for half price out of the deal. Still I would like to avoid other cars.

Ron was there anything besides price that made you go with Earls? How are they holding up?

I went with the Earl's due to price, $99 and reputation. Had them on for about a year with zero problems. They really do wake up the brakes.
